Akihabara, Tokyo hotel rooms at the Capsule and Sauna Century Group

"The hotel is in an excellent location near Akihabara Station, surrounded by convenient amenities like a pharmacy, 7-Eleven, and plenty of anime-focused shops. It’s also close to the Tamashii Nations Store, making it a great choice for Gundam fans. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and efficiently designed. One downside is some noise from nearby train lines and a fire station, but the hotel thoughtfully provides complimentary earplugs and other amenities to help minimize the disturbance. Another major advantage is that the hotel sits on a line with direct access to the Ginza shopping district, as well as Nippori, which connects easily to the Narita Express—making airport travel very convenient."

"The rooms are a bit smaller than they look in the pictures, but still good size. Five of us (three adults, two kids) in there was a bit cramped with all our luggage, but we still managed. Having a kitchenette was very convenient. The train is close by, but not too noisy and stopped running from midnight to 6am, so not too disruptive. Overall, well worth it. "

"This hotel is right smack in the middle of three train stations but almost 1km from each. Rooms were clean and laid out exactly like Monday Hotels. Only negative was the pre/check in process. I was unable to check in with the cloud based link provided on the way to Tokyo. When we arrived at the front desk, I was surprised that the attendant had no way of looking up the reservation. He provided a QR code and I had to perform all of the check in procedures online. It was a bit strange but I guess that is the way things are heading with everything done online or via an app. "

"Small rooms, but that’s expected in Tokyo. The hotel amenities and proximity to shops and transportation makes up for the room sizes."

"Loved this hotel, in a great location staff was friendly and helpful for both checking in and checking out but not needed other than that. Enemies were fine. I love the bathroom size and the room set up. The rooms are on the smaller end however, if you get joining rooms, it feels much bigger. Beds were comfortable, a perfect place to just sleep. "

"Great location and price was reasonable. The staff was all friendly and the self service laundry machine was convenient. No real negatives about our stay with a minor note that the bathroom might feel small for big/tall folk, still usable though. Overall would recommend. "
