Hotel is a bit old and noisy at night even we stayed at the 10th floor but I guess it’s in the heart of ueno. Staffs are so nice and helpful!! We stayed twice already we love it. Rooms are spacious great for families.

5 min walk to main train station. 2 min walk to Ueno park- which is sooo beautiful at night. Next to a grocery store and many convenience stores. Room was clean and spacious. First time staying anywhere in japan and this place was great. Right next to Ueno park which is beautiful. Easy to get to various train stations and a pretty short walk to the akihabara arcades. We had the kabuki room, western travelers will probably feel a bit cramped in here but we enjoyed it! We also loved the Korean cafe around the corner

The location was a hub for getting around Ueno. 5 minute walks to the train station, food, entertainment, and an attached family mart at the ground floor so you can easily get some food or drinks. The staff was exceptionally helpful and I'll happily return the next visit.
