Sherry and her daughter were warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were amazing. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay . Bonus was all the beautiful scenery and parks to hike in.

Owner was an outstanding host. Her place is beautiful, so much charm and history. Breakfasts were amazing as well and she accommodated our early meal so we could get to soccer.

A Welcome break from the Big City

Very nice respite from the big city. The inn keeper was thoughtul and gracious. Short walk to trails, Fox river and restaurants. Great home made breakfast. Beautiful Inn. Only 45 minutes feom Chicago.

The Bed and Breakfast Host is the best. Come and find out yourself. Her breakfast is fresh and sooooo yummmy :). The location is super walkable to all restaurants and has a nice river in the back 😊 sooo balanced ❤️ I will def be back that's a promise ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️10 ⭐

Wonderful Victorian stay

Sherry was a very gracious host. She was personal, kind, warm , friendly, and made wonderful breakfasts. She worked wonderfully around my special diet needs. The garden was pleasant, had nice roses, and places to sit. Beautiful Victorian house and decor

This is a charming gem! Sherry is a delightful host who is very experienced in running this B and B. Her breakfast is fresh, delicious, and served on vintage china. Our rrom (presidential suite) was quiet, no disturbances. Plenty of parking for guests behind the house. We had a good group of guests, too. When we return to Algonquin, we will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed my stay here. The owner is beyond pleasant. She is very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. She is at the end of a quiet street in a very quaint town. We enjoyed walking the town. The room was adorable and clean. The bed was comfortable. Just a lovely Victorian home with a lovely hostess.

The Best Stay Experience

Fabulous experience from the time I arrived to my departure. Sherry is a phenomenal hostess. We were treated like royalty! We loved all the attention to detail. We felt very valued and appreciated. Her home is so warm and comfortable. Her neighborhood is quiet and charming. We can't wait for a return visit!

A Truly Wonderful B&B

Sherry's B&B is incredibly and uniquely beautiful and lovingly cared for. She made us feel so very welcome and surprised my husband with some wonderful birthday touches. The house was immaculately clean, and the bed was supremely comfortable for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and coffee/tea/water/soda and cookies were available at any time. Thank you to Sherry and her assistant, Nikki, for such friendly and wonderful hosting. We hope to visit again!

This was one of my favorite weekend stays of all time! The whole property is cozy, dreamy and very well-designed. We stayed in the presidential suite - the bed was comfy, the complimentary drinks were a lovely touch, but my absolute favorite part was the deep claw foot tub. Sherry was a doll and made sure to introduce all the guests to one another when she served breakfast in the morning, which was super tasty. My husband and I were so sad that our plans changed and we had to check out a day early. We will definitely be choosing the Victorian Rose Garden next time we're in town!
