Excellent overall. Staff always present, very pleasant. No frills, but none needed. A clean place to stay a couple of nights, conveniently located for access to Olean and Salamanca.

The place is well maintained and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was on the smaller size but we adapted and our stay was pleasant.

Web site said 1 room available. When we arrived there was a no vacancy sign, but the parking lot was empty. Finally got checked in after finding the desk person. Evidently there is only one room they can use. The roon was clean and updated, but the bed spreads were stained. Was just an eerie feeling being the only people there.

For a small roadside motel it was very impressive. Completely remodeled room, very very clean. Even the parking lot was clean. Looks like a lot of attention to detail. At first I thought it was a little overpriced but when you see the condition of the room and property, you realize it’s a pretty good deal. I’ve stayed in worse places for far more.

We stayed during St Bonaventure ‘s family weekend and it was the only place in town that didn’t mandate a 2 night stay.

I was a little scared at first but this motel surprised me for sure. Has to be the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at. I was really amazed. Great service as well. Need more outfits like this.

What a quaint, clean, quiet place. We loved it and will definitely stay here again. The rooms are cozy and clean. The lady (I feel terrible I forgot her name) was so friendly and helpful. The coffee and continental breakfast offered was delicious. I definitely recommend staying here.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much, but what a great surprise! Room and facilities are spotless, very nicely updated; and Mary, who checked us in, cleans the room, makes the morning coffee and breakfast, is AMAZING! Would highly recommend.

The location was very convenient. Th simple design and check in made it a nice place to spend the night after a day of skiing. Although a bit small it was clean. Th breakfast was limited and would recommend bringing something with you because there is a microwave and frig in the rooms

Very clean room ready when I got there.. Bed very firm and comfortable. No place to put anything ( No table ) Chair comfortable , but to close to floor. Great for a one night/on the go room.

New and clean but very small with no amenities
Nice lean new motel but the rooms are the smallest I have ever stayed in. The price was higher than a much better place in Lockport,NY at the Best Western with an indoor pool workout facilities and a breakfast to die for. The Lantern had nothing to compare to this for a price much to high for the size and amenities of the place. Allen- Jefferson, NH

Went down to the Ellicottville Fall Festival this motel is about 20 minutes from there was clean, quiet and nice for an overnight stay.

Nice, clean place to sleep
The room was very clean and newly remodeled. It was very small, so not good if you want to hang out in the room but perfect if you are just passing through and need a safe, clean place to sleep.

Good find
We arrived a little late around 7pm and the clerk looked very annoyed with us. We checked into our room which was very nicely remodeled. Very impressed. The walls are very thin so if you are looking to be loud or want it quiet be careful. The only recommendation I have is a coat hook, more pillows and maybe a tray table to eat at. Continental style breakfast was a little shabby too but overall we had a good stay.

Call them to book because they have up charged prices on websites and don't know why paying resort fee. Right next to I86 so you hear traffic noise all night and the beds are creaky and uncomfortable. OK if your budget is limited.

You get what you pay for.
Service at the front desk was pretty good, they are available 24/7. Room was fine at first glance but upon closer inspection it was dirty. Stains on the counters/carpet, hair was stuck to the shower wall, toilet seat was stained (gross). Bed was terribly squeaky and left my back feeling sore, walls are thin too so both nights we had the luxury of hearing EVERYTHING the couples in the rooms next to us were doing. Cheap Motel, you get what you pay for. Bedbug free though.

Clean, fresh, new with friendly staff.
The unit we stayed in was either recently remodeled or just built. Very clean, friendly helpful staff, great shower soft beds. Restaurants were a short drive away.

we booked a room for 2 people and it was set up for 1 .1 towel 1 washcloth .the room was so small had to watch were you walked . talk to the people who ran the motel about only one person set up and he just said he would tell his wife, we will never go there again

Clean and quiet
The motel is actually a bit outside of Olean, right off Interstate 86. It is located down the road from St. Bonaventure University. Since it's not right in town, the area is extremely quiet. The motel rooms are quite small--postage stamp size, but everything was very clean. They offer Direct TV so there are lots of television channels to view. The thing that struck me most was the taxes in NY state. While the room is listed as $89/night, there are $30 in taxes bringing the bill up to near $110.
