The staff was amazing upon our arrival and very accommodating, especially since we had to switch rooms three times due to a persistent moldy smell. Unfortunately, the final room still had a faint odor, but we decided to stay anyway.
Aside from the smell, the room had a few maintenance issues: the toilet paper holders were coming loose from the wall, outlets above my head on the bed and the hair dryer didn’t work initially—though to their credit, the staff quickly provided a replacement. I also noticed a small hole beneath the picture frame above the bed, which made me uncomfortable, so I stuffed it with tissue for peace of mind. Thankfully, it was only a one-night stay.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly, smiling, and genuinely eager to help. The hotel is conveniently located near shops and just 12 minutes from the Wind Creek Event Center. Breakfast looked decent, but we opted for Perkins next door, where hotel guests get a 10% discount. The gym was clean and well-maintained.
Overall, this is a budget-friendly option that might work well for college students, travelers passing through, or anyone looking for an inexpensive overnight stay.
