“Simple overnight stay to break up a long journey. The hotel was quiet and clean with very friendly, fussy free and helpful staff. Breakfast was good standard hotel offering. Room was hot and there's no AC but that's fair in a property of this age. There's no lift and so it was a struggle with a couple of heavy cases but it is just something people should be aware of and not put off by.”

“Lovely little place but no parking,parking is about 200m away in a public car park. So a bit of a chore humping your shoping bags suitcases ect,but if you can get past that its fine.”

“スタッフはフレンドリーで、暑いなか、ウェルカムシャンパンで迎えてくれました。 また、少し時間を過ぎていたにもかかわらず、ウェルカムティーも御馳走になりました。 そして、帰りにはお土産までいただきました。 猛暑から、一週間前にクーラーを設置したとのことで、とても快適でした。 シャワールームも使いやすくリフォームされていて、大理石でした。 朝食付きでこの価格は素晴らしいし、次回もまたステイしたいです。”

“We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub”

“Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house. Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good. Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes. Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities. Would certainly return.”

“Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!”

“Welcome was lovely, room was really pretty with nice touches, pretty noisy though, you'll be lucky to get a solid nights sleep. Breakfast wasnt great either sadly. Overall though it was a lovely, pretty, welcoming hotel for a single night stay.”

“The parking was good, off from the road, car was secure. The hostess was great, and very friendly. Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths...
