"This hotel suited our needs. It was clean, in a good location, had plenty of useful amenities, had a great pool and friendly staff. However, if you are looking for flash....this is not the place. It is very tired and probably needs an upgrade. If you are looking for a safe, basic place to stay with a BBQ area and pool then this place is okey. We would probably stay again if ever we are back in Cairns. "

Beds were lovely and comfortable and quiet, once the doors to the patio were closed. It was a perfect accommodation for us. "

"My wife and l and our 2 teenage boys stayed in the ground floor penthouse near the main pool. Our stay was a welcoming one right from from the beginning at check in. The room was spacious and clean had had all the facilities you would expect in an apartment. Room service daily was an unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay here again as it was the perfect location to all the dining and activities that we needed during our stay."

"The unit was a studio and nice size, very clean. We enjoyed using the grill for dinner too. The owners were helpful, friendly and helped with our transportation needs. John even drove us to the Reef Terminal one morning. It's a bit over a mile to the main part of the Esplanade and harbor. We did walk it several times. Otherwise it was about $9 US each way for a taxi."

Maybe have a map in unit for those late check ins as the map we got from reception after 3 days there was great. Maybe leave a note to warn rentals about leaving food/honey/sugar out, as ants around."
