"Good location and very close to everything "

"The hotel has a wonderful appearance, as many of the original 1500s features are still visible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is easily walkable to the old city and departure point for the river excursion boats. The buffet at first seemed pricey, but was worth it - good service, delicious food. I will stay there again on my next visit to Strasbourg."

"No AC available. A fan would have even helped since the windows don’t open but just a slit. Way too warm & stuffy in the room without some air movement. "

"This is a wonderful hotel! This was our second time staying at this property. The staff is exceptional! They went above and beyond at checkout to get us to our departure bus at the train station so we would not miss out flight. I cannot thank them enough. Wonderful service! Would stay here again and again!"

"The room wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped for a Novotel. So much dust everywhere. No water in the room only to find out you need to collect a bottle and fill it near the reception. Only noticed when it was after midnight. Why having a fridge in the room and no water or drinks in it. The sink in the bathroom smelled of sewage. Pool area and general area looked ok. Ed was a double and made a lot of noise when turning. Not great. "

"The hotel staff was friendly, and the room was a reasonable size and clean. The breakfast offered fresh orange juice and was enjoyable. However, there was a discrepancy in the advertising, as the hotel lacked a swimming pool and rooftop access. "

"Room smells and the pillows smell bad too. AC wasn’t on and it was so hot to sleep. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and it took them over an hour so I had to go to the front desk to get it. "

"We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep. Checkin was not til 4. Staff was very kind and let us chill in lobby and got us room by one which was incredibly appreciative. Thanks so much. "
