"Everything about this property was very good, except for the desk staff. (One person, the overnight (older gentleman) desk clerk was very kind, congenial & helpful.) The other three I interacted with were rude & intentionally unhelpful. There was no card provided in the room to indicate Do Not Disturb. I asked at the desk how to do that; what he told me was a total lie. Because it seemed odd, later that evening I asked the woman who was then on duty. She explained the process (I won't go into it here; believe it or not, in involved a 2nd room key, holding down buttons, a light being activated . . . ) Like a fool, I believed her. When I returned to my room the next afternoon, not only had Housekeeping been in my room, they had touched everything! They had even put my pajamas under my pillow! Because I thought no one would be coming in the room, I had left everything out. I hadn't even put jewelry in the safe! When I complained to yet a 3rd desk clerk, she basically said I messed up the process. The redeeming part of my stay was the restaruant staff. They were wonderful to me. Because of them, I ate 2 breakfasts & 2 dinners at the hotel. Perhaps this place should put some of their restaurant staff on the front desk!"

"The room was clean and modern and had a great view of the mountains. I especially liked how the bed faced the windows so you can wake up to great views. The hotel also had good self service facilities for drinking water, hot water and ice. The ice came in useful as I injured myself during a walk and it was useful for cold compression. The staff was friendly and on hand to answer queries. Breakfast was decent too. The location was really convenient as it was near the main bus stop service especially if you plan on spending most of the trip in Ortisei. The hotel came with a free bus pass for the entire stay. I am already planning my next trip to the Dolomites and will be looking to staying here again."

"This beautiful old hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the Dolomites. We loved the view from the room, and breakfast had plenty of choices. The hotel is located above a small store, so you can easily find snacks, sandwiches or gelato. The only thing lacking was the ability to make coffee in our room."

"One of my favorite hotel stays EVER. Their service was exceptional. I left very early in the morning to hike, and they had my car pulled up front and a breakfast box packed. Everyone working there was extremely friendly and helpful / I almost cried when I left. The spa is incredible, took one of the best naps of my life there. Also the dinner at their restaurant was exceptional. Truly a magical place that will stay with me long after I have left."

"During our 13-day trip to northern Italy, we booked five hotels, relying heavily on customer ratings and information. To pay it forward, I want to leave my honest reviews to help future guests. This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are exceptionally clean, likely because they have been recently fully remodeled. The bed and bathroom are very comfortable, and there is plenty of parking space. The breakfast is good, and they even prepared a breakfast bag for us because we had to leave early before the restaurant opened. The only area for improvement is the main dish at dinner."
