Amelia Hotel at the Beach

"CONS: There was no 'rainfall showerhead'. A cheap shower head was used. The bathtub/shower area needs upgrading. Old vertical rail for a showerhead was still on wall with nothing on it. An antique knob to turn water on for tub/shower. Had to use a rubber mat in tub so wouldn't fall. The chair at desk is about ready to lose the back. We didn't use it because the seat was dirty. Very little vanity room for toiletries. There are dark brown stains on wall by toilet, behind toilet paper and by the side of the desk. Open 1/2 closet with 3 hangers. The lamp between beds is badly rusted. HAD TO PAY $15 A DAY FOR PARKING IN THEIR BIG PARKING LOT. Just add that $15 onto what you charge for a room per night and then say free parking!!! PROS: Beds were comfy. Large room. Bigger than normal small refrigerator. Microwave. TV. Cold air conditioner was great! Hair dryer. Nice drawers to keep our stuff in. THE HOT BUFFET EACH MORNING WAS A WONDERFUL WAY TO START OUR DAY."

"We got off to a rough start with having bugs in our room on the 6th floor. We had already unpacked so we had to pack up again and get moved a floor higher. The following day the front desk manager call me and wanted to move us again this time to a suite on the eight floor I almost said no because the thought of unpacking again was a turn off for me. However she asked my husband what he wanted to do and he said move of course. So we moved to the suite Wednesday Thursday and Friday night. The front desk called a couple of time to make sure we are comfortable. We were extremely happy with the level of service we received. The shuttle service has a very handy. Everyone was so polite and happy. It turned our disaster first day into a completely difference and positive experience. I would go back there within the next few months. I would like to thank all the staff members including bell men, housekeeping, bar staff restaurant and kitchen staff the grounds keepers and the front desk staff and especially the front desk manager."

"My room was clean and accommodating. The staff were professional from the moment I checked in into the checkout process. What I enjoyed the most was the location. Less than two miles away from the center of the town. You are on the beach within a very short walk. I would visit again"

"Great Ritz property. Easily and immediately one of our new favorites. Great staff. Club level room was a bit small and underpowered, but everything else was really nice. Great beach, golf, island feel, Fernanidna town was super cool too. Highly recommend."

"Our stay here was nothing more than spectacular . Everyone went above and beyond greeting us so kindly. Our room was wonderful with fresh towels each day. The front porch so inviting and relaxing . The food and coffee and tea bar was amazing, especially since it was always available . From the time we checked in Kayla , Eve, Marie , Missy, and the rest of the staff were the absolute very best . We will definitely stay here again . For sure!!! Thank you all so very much❤️🤗"
