I booked a room with two queen beds for my wife, myself, and two children to share.
We arrived a half hour early, and the staff was super accommodating and was able to check us in early.
Unfortunately, when we entered our room, we only found one queen bed. I returned to the desk to explain the simple mistake, but they told me that Expedia does this a lot to customers. They make it appear that two beds were booked, but book whatever is available from the hotel. They were unable to switch us to the room that we booked.
Expedia was not helpful when we called to express our displeasure with the booking experience. They were short on a text chain and told me to periodically check my email for a follow up.
It is a pretty tight fit in the room and we are unable to have they stay we needed. I wish I knew this was possible, as I would have booked straight through the hotel site.
Holiday weekend sealed our fate in this tiny room, as all other rooms in this and other nearby hotels were unavailable. Major thumbs down for the Expedia experience!!
