Zipping through almost ten Berber villages in a few hours, you truly are able to see how the local people live in each of their villages. Chickens are running around, kids playing football, and the women are socialising amongst themselves. "It was uniquely terrible. Access was beyond terrible. No vehicular access and a long long steep uphill path of steps and rough concrete. Impossible for anybody with the slightest walking issues. The house is situated in a building site. The garden is a total mess. The pool is unkept. The free public parking is a plain fabrication. The room shower is rough concrete. "We had a wonderful stay at Chez Momo II. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and there is able patio space to relax and take in the surroundings. Food at the hotel was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Staff was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend going for a guided hike to the “top of the world”. Ask for a guide by the name of Mohammed to show you around. Highly recommend this area of Morocco and this hotel specifically. "

"Wow, what an absolutely fabulous place! It’s exactly what we hoped for - peace and tranquility. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. The most instagram worthy place I have ever been to! Of note for those planning a trip, we stayed in the ‘low season’ (I.e. July/August). The hotel was only 20-30% full which made the stay feel even more intimate. We guess people are put off by the temperatures in Marrakesh, however it’s at least 5-10 degrees cooler in the mountains. Our stay was hot but definitely tolerable! "

"Staff are amazing and accommodative. Kasbah was as you’d expect and was very authentically Moroccan. Food is far more expensive than expected BUT it was some of the best we experienced during our trip. They also made sure everything was freshly prepared and would cook additional items they knew we liked. The staff member Hamid was a gentleman and gave us a great insight into the culture, people and food. He is a huge asset to the Kasbah. "
