“We had to ask for the room to be vacuumed again when we arrived and while the main bits of the room were clean (bed, toilet, and shower), the rest did not seem very clean (stains everywhere on the carpet and chairs, toothpaste marks on the bathroom ledge etc). The bathroom smelt bad and it seemed like the sink was leaking and there was a pile of mouldy looking sludge on the floor as a result. Plates were not clean at breakfast. “Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side.
Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well.
Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs.
Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes.

“There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open.
It was too expensive as well for what we received. We weren’t even advised if breakfast until we asked about it and then she asked us what time did we want to book it for.
And they charge 10 pound for parking when it is free until 9am...
“The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Whilst it had everything we needed it was dated and could have benefitted from a deep clean, cobwebs & mould around the windows. The windows also condensed a lot in the morning. None of the heaters worked and only two of the electric storage heaters worked.
