“Clean, quiet room and comfortable mattress. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated within easy walking of Chester with all it's shops and eateries. Easy driving to local sites of interest, including Ness Botanical Gardens, nature reserves and historical sites. A great base for exploring the surrounding area. “All the staff were friendly & very helpful. I can't say enough great things about them! Good location. The room was a little warm & we could not change the temperature, but they did provide a fan. The mirrors are in odd places. I never liked the Best Western in America, but I would stay in one in Scotland again!”

“Being situated on a hill one has to accept that there are 50 steps from the road outside to the reception. Parking is tight in the town centre so your shuttle service is to be commended. Having a tv room with sky sports would be good especially on raining cold days.”
