“Rooms were lovely and clean and spacious. Lack of staff and very poor service at Breakfast. Standards of staffing have dropped since our last visit. Hardly anyone avilable. ”

“If you are looking for the best of what a traditional British guesthouse should be, look no further. The room and communal areas are spotless. The towels and linen are fresh and look New. Building is well 19. The refreshments in the room could be no better, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Then we come to breakfast. Perfection. And to top it all exceptionally good value. ospotless”

“The facilities were very good and the staff we encountered were all great. It was busy at times in the spa, with just enough space to be relaxing. We enjoyed our morning visit to the spa more than the afternoon. Nearby Frinton beach and high street was worth a visit. ”

“Room had no central heating,only a oil fired radiator Bathroom underfloor heating only in middle of day, nowhere to put any items in bathroom and poor lighting and no drinking water for kettle. Plug sockets could only do kettle or radiator and no socket for lamp by bed. Very basic room,towels too small. Breakfast very good value ”
