terrible experience
The room was stinky and also not soundproof at all. I couldn't sleep when my next room customer enter the room, i feel like he is entering my room. The airconditioner was so dirty so if you turn on the air conditioner, the dust is coming out from it. The elevator was not working well so you should use stairs but the environment of hall way is scary. I didn't get a shower becasue i can smell the pee in the washing room. The room is too small so i can not open my luggage on the floor. The staff were unfriendly I feel they are ignoring me. And they said they didn't get the transaction of city tax from my card so i paied twice and they said the money will come back to my account. But it didn't and they got the money from my card but they didn't refund the exact money for me. The restaurant on the 1st floor looks great but i didn't use because whole service and cleaning was terrible. It was really terrible expereince. The only good thing was the location.

Location was excellent. Easy to walk from tge railway station, and a stone throw away from the square and many bars andcrestaurants

I called in advance to confirm the room had French doors to look out into, which the man said yes. I also requested in the app for a double bed instead of twin and called in advance to ask if this was possible and was told yes, however when we arrived we had a corer room with no French doors and twin beds. It was supposed to be a special trip for our anniversary but I spent most of the night falling in between 2 mattresses. We asked for early check in and we’re told to come to the hotel at 1pm for early check in, the room wasn’t ready so we dropped our bags and came back at the original check in time which was 3pm and the room was still not ready. We did not get into the room until 3:45. The staff were lovely but simply said there was nothing they could do as all the rooms were booked…just left us dissapointed

This hotel exceeded expectations as we were ready for the noise since the hotel is located in a very busy area. Well, what a surprise! It was very quiet, very pleasant. Nice hotel, clean, large rooms, excellent staff, great food, prime location… only good things to say about this place. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Lovely room and the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever had and we travel a lot. Only small downside was that although room lovely and spacious, there is VERY little hanging or storage space. Had to live out of a case for 5 days. Really well situated at Dam square and surprisingly quiet considering location. Lovely hotel overall.

Very centrally located, but the building is a little tired, though clean. Central location comes with some noise and with the elevator out of service for part of my stay and my room being next to the stairs, it got pretty noisy with everyone using them. Bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful though.

The room was not suited for 2, only 1 chair, no tabel, and very small wardrobe. The value for money was not good

The property’s (location,convenience,local options) are all great. My only observation is that the property may not fit large frame people as well as it fits the average size. In reference to the bathroom size and layout. But other than that it’s not bad . Not sure if I would stay again or choose another option.

I expected a bit more quality from a 4 star hotel. The linens attracted lint and hair like velcro so the bedding did not look clean. The fridge in our room did not work and despite reporting it several times it never was fixed or swapped out. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good and the location was convenient - an easy walk from Centraal with bags. There was no hair conditioner. The safe was big enough for a laptop. The staff were friendly and responsive over all. This feels more like a 3 star hotel.

Great hotel with central location
Great hotel, with a central location. Room was spacious and modern. Only negative was that it had a tendency to be cold and even with temp turned up it made little difference. This would not prevent me from booking again as everything else was great.

Great location and so convenient for metro, trams, canal boats and sightseeing. We were on 5th floor with no lift access beyond 4th - so if you don’t want steep stairs, be clear when booking.

Excellent location to central area, train station, trams and restaurants. Hotel is ‘compact’ and expensive as is any room in hotel but was value for money due to location. Staff were very good.

I was going to rate it as 1 star, but adding another star for the great staff on the reception. Now why 1 star review? Be careful when booking this rooms with a twin/queen loping bed in the picture - they gave me room with 2 single beds together and 2 small blankets to cover, so you if you travel alone and use to sleep on big beds most likely you will start falling in between of beds during a night. If you travel as a couple - both of you will have to sleep under separate blankets. This is the most stupid thing whoever created it, I travel a lot and I never seen anything like that in a good or even cheap hotel. Prices are not super low and for that price you can actually rent a normal room in a way more luxurious hotel in this area. This one is complete waste of money and your sleep time. I hope this message will get to the managers and they will stop thinking that they are smarter that anyone else and will stop treating people like that. Either get a twin/queen bed or 2 single beds, take different pictures and advertise it the way it suppose to be so people get exactly what they book and there is no torture on your clients. Please take your job seriously.

Great hotel in city centre location, stopped over new year but they must have good soundproofing as once in our room late on we couldn’t hear the fireworks. Staff were fantastic couldn’t do enough for us. Room was spacious and modern. Would definitely stay again.

The first room I was given had mould growing on walls, in the second room the air conditioning was throwing out lumps of black dust: finally the third room was adequate. Lift was broken for last 24 hours, so it was a painful walk to forth floor
