“It’s a bit off the beaten path but once you get here, it’s very well kept and the owners are very accommodating. Each cabin has a fire place and they start a fire for you at night. There is also a heater for when that isn’t enough.”

“Its very close to the center of the Mariscal Sucre, and the property is lovely with a beautiful courtyard that gives it a rustic feel in the city. ”

“Cesar was warm and very inviting and a pleasure to get to chat with. Blue door is very close to voto nacional and other great sites, but it does sit very high on a hill which makes exploring on foot a little tougher. Nights in quito get quite cold and it can be especially rough walking to a seperate shared bathroom, although the water pressure was great with plenty of hot water.”

“Muy sencillo y antiguo el hotel. El ascensor no funciona. Por fortuna eran 3 pisos para subir con maletas. La habitación muy anticuada, el baño nada agradable. Tenía una ventana, con una vista muy fea , a un techo de una casa al lado. No había ni una silla, 1 solo gancho y closet muy estrecho. Muy anticuado. Nada de shampoo y con jabón pequeño de barra muy mala calidad.”
