The grounds of the property are beautiful and interesting with lots of birds and butterflies (note there is some small construction going on at the moment but this didn’t affect us). It was a relaxing and peaceful place for a few days with excellent hiking nearby to the waterfalls and river swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the enclosed seating area at the front of each cabin, with fresh coffee provided, was a great place just to sit for a while....

“Great little gem with quiet gardens and a nice pool. Roon was larger with 3 beds. The brewery had good drinks and food. Staff was extremely helpful getting a shuttle to the airport.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“Nous y sommes allés pour une escale. Hôtel propre ( il y aurait la possibilité de manger sur place le soir mais nous n’avons pas testé ). L’offre aux alentours à pieds était plutôt fast-food. Nous y étions hors saison et l’hôtel était vide. Petit déjeuner local ou possibilité d’avoir des gaufres. Très bien pour une escale même si peut être un peu cher .”

“The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok...

“Resort is a little older and needs some refreshing but is still very nice. Large and clean pool! Large covered balcony with lounge area and shared cooking area. This is a great space for dining al fresco, doing group yoga, working, playing games or just relaxing and watching nature. Also make sure you dont need a/c. This is an eco resort. I didn't pay attention to that part of the details but still lovely at night with the fan on.”
