"Clean and comfortable, no frills motel. Staff at reception and breakfast very friendly. Breakfast has something for everyone, though it doesn’t begin serving till 8am. Breakfast area is a little cramped. Coffee was excellent! Smell of detergent on sheets was almost overwhelming. Door to room had to be pulled very hard to latch/lock. I was there for two nights. No privacy please hanger meant that they made my bed and refreshed towels, neither which I needed. End result was a number of mosquitos in my room since housekeeping must have had the room door open for some time. Annoying discovery at bedtime. Beds are somewhat low, but biggest issue is the legs of the bed frame which protrude well beyond the beds themselves. Stubbed my toes more than once. Despite a number of shortcomings, the location served its purpose."

"Place was very quaint and nostalgic. Everything felt reminiscent of an old cottage. Rooms were decent. Obviously very dated but kept up well. Showers are tiny. Fine for me but husband had a hard time with it. Really like the front seasonal room. Very cozy atmosphere. Had a lively breakfast ready for us in the morning. Service was fantastic."

"The room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. Really this older; yet, refurbished motel was comfortable and clean. So, 5 star except for: would have liked a sheet change every 2 days; but, no sheet change during our 4 day stay, only 1 window to open in the unit, and couldn't since it had no screen, intermittently loud refrigerator had to be shut off at night. Didn't care for heavy bed spread, since doubted it was washed often. Otherwise, fabulous responsive owner, great location to downtown, parking right outside of the room, quiet lodgers, and access to highways to travel around NS."

"All I can say is WOW! Amazing stay! So many wonderful amenities. Welcome basket, robes, coffee for the morning. Very nicely decorated. Amazing beach front property! Could hear the waves crashing from the bed. 10/10 stay! Would love to come back one day!"
