Loved my stay there. Located waterfront in the quiet local community. Sweet owner and her son. She lined up a great boat tour of the area. I highly reccomend!!

Lots of island to explore by long tail bot.
Freshly delicious seafood
Great hospitality at this property they were very helpful made breakfast in the morning for free
Place is nice and quiet and host helped transport me to my next accommodation when I couldn't get a taxi near the area to transport me
Happy with my stay here
Amazing stay!! The owner is extremely kind and helpful and she cooks the most delicious Thai breakfast ever. The guest house is really unique and is situated on a dock over the ocean. Highly recommend!
We had a great time there. The owner is really helpful and kind. The room is clean, breakfast is excellent. The highlight is hornbills that fly over your head and stop on the tree that closed to us.
Our stay here was so wonderful. We came with our kids aged 9 and 11.
The building is not new, but it is tidy and cleaned frequently. The rooms are modest, but had the most important ammenity for us: air conditioning! I walked regularly in the morning and was warmly welcomed by residents of this village. The history of the village is worthwhile reading about.
The host was professional, kind and thoughtful. She really takes care of each guest. She was helped us book boat tours and transportation to our next location. The boat tour was exceptional; signigifantly better than large tour companies and a much better price. The host made us several very tasty meals.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is seeking to escape big tourist areas and see/experience this beautiful part of the world.

The hosts were nice and picked me up from Ao Luek Bus Station for 300 Baht. They can arrange a boat tour of the Bay if you are so inclined. Communication was through Google translate. If you're a fisher, you may be interested to see the noisy and smelly jellyfish harvest processing going on next door, day and night during this season. Check with the host to see if that is still the case. Not much to see or do in the area if you're on foot as it's rather isolated. The one restaurant nearby, Lam Saek Seafood, is 1.4 km away and quite good.
This is one of our favorite stops in many many years of traveling. First of all we have to give major gratitude to Soisuda, who we affectionately nicknamed “Auntie” because she always made sure we had everything we needed, cooked amazing breakfasts, and set up one of the most phenomenal tours we have ever been on.
She arranged transportation from and to two different destinations for us. We told her we didn’t want do a very touristy tour of the bay, and she arranged for us to visit all the hidden natural spots that were world class without any crowds at all great price. Hidden beaches, sea caves, nonstop adventure and we had these places all to ourselves! Exactly what we wanted!
The rooms are very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The Wi-Fi is great as we work on the road! There are coffee shops, restaurants, local vendors, and a 7 Eleven within an easy walking distance. The temple in town rivals cathedrals in Paris in my opinion. The people all around the homestay were so friendly and would cheer us on as we ran in the mornings.
10 out of 10 Hostess and 10 out of 10 special experience! We’ll be back!

So, this photo looks amazing, but the reality is that at low tide this is a mangrove forest/mud, not swimmable, at all, there was a tire and lots of 'stuff'/trash that has collected in this little area. We were looking for a place to swim, this isn't the place. This is a small town filled with lovely people, 1 excellent seafood restaurant we could walk to, 1 coffee shop, and 1 7/11. The homestay here is very basic. Advertised as 2 beds, one was a queen, and OK, the other, a twin with no mattress, no foundation, just some plastic type layers of ? zipped into a covering. We used the futon covers beneath it so we didn't sag through the bottom, this is not a bed for an adult. Hostess said she'd have a taxi pick us up, it was her husband, he picked us up in Krabi airport 75 minutes away. He charged us 1800Baht, or $50, (going back they asked the same, but since it was New Year's day and they were celebrating/drinking til 3am, and he was still drunk/asleep at 1pm, we declined and found someone to take us for 500B or $14. We each asked for 2 towels and were declined, the towel was so worn out it was barely absorbent. Breakfast was provided, though it was very very traditional Thai, fish head soup, clear broth, my friend eats eggs so she made him an egg when he asked. I am allergic to them, so that wasn't an option.
She got me fruit for morning 2, too dry to eat, coffee was freeze dried so I walked into town for 7/11 coffee, and yogurt. Translation via the phone was not great.
very nice place, especially at the high tide, at night, becomes on the sea... morning time, low tide the sea is far away... Sophia the land lady is a very nice lady 😊 kap khun mak krub 🙏
I am used to the dilapidated nature of bargain home stays but this was beyond that to actual neglect and disrepair. When we arrived the air conditioner was not working well and despite being the only guests there, we weren’t moved to another room. I can only imagine they were worse. They sent a repairman to fix it but it wasn’t fixed. There was rust all over, dangling wires, exposed holes etc. The shower had broken knobs, weak water pressure and was c very small.
There are a couple nearby seafood restaurants that had fresh fish dishes that we enjoyed.
There aren’t a lot of options in the area to visit the nearby temple and boat tours but I would try to find a different one from here. We stayed a couple nights and it got the job done but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Unterkunft entspricht keine 3 Sterne Kategorie. Maximal 1 Stern. Vermieterin spricht kein Englisch, alles läuft über Google Übersetzer. Frühstück hat gut geschmeckt. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut.
