“Room is very dirty dirt and debris in the corner of the bathroom there’s black mold in the shower. The refrigerator was disgusting. The swimming pool was dirty. Would not stay there again.”

“Had our stay not coincided with a high school grad formal (the hotel should have notified us, and others, at the time of our booking), we would likely have had a decent sleep. “Very clean and nicely furnished for such an old property. Our room could have used a good scrubbing on the bathroom floors b/c the grout and tiles were dirty. The shower could use re-caulking around the glass shower door where it meets the bathtub to get rid of a bit of mold, and the tiles in the shower could need to be sprayed with Tilex and scrubbed. Those are all minor things, but could improve the room a lot. Overall, very satisfied. ”

“I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good.
