"Really nice staff. Let us check in a few hours early. Didn’t realise the minibar was free until the last night! Never mind. Bear in mind its location as it can be fairly noisy as expected with hotels in the city with traffic and city services. Perfect location though. Thanks. Steve & Emma"

"We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of a tour and a few days at the end of our tour. We love the historic area of the hotel. Walkable to all the attractions and 5 star breakfast. The staff if friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport."

"Compared with hotels in Asia, the amenities here are relatively basic, as slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided. My only other observation is that the bathroom is not completely sealed off from the room, unlike what you typically find in hotels in Asia. As a result, sounds from the bathroom can be heard quite clearly in the room, which can be slightly uncomfortable."

Grand Hotel Duomo

"I’d describe the hotel as “no frills”, but in fairness you get what you pay for. Breakfast is also basic too- not even a toaster. Pastries are plentiful so if you’re sweet toothed - fill your boots. The location for the tower and duomo however could not be better. Staff are polite and helpful and the rooftop bar is lovely for an evening sundowner and are not pricey for where you are."
