"The breakfast was good but things in the kitchen broke on the second day, however many other options were still available. The pool was good to use but the hot tub was broken. Walking distance to amazing food, gas station and medical if needed."

"We stay at Embassy Suites often all over the country. I was pretty disappointed at the front desk attendant. She had dress and was obese and smelled poorly. The room was clean but the pool was over crowed and very run down. To be honest it seemed that the employees get a reduced rate and many had excessive kids and adults crammed in one room. The lace was ghetto."

"We've stayed there 2 years in a row for a Girls' Weekend in downtown Grand Rapids. We even booked the same room the second time! Just loved it! Close to everything in Downtown! All the restaurants we went to were great, reasonable, and within walking distance (and I highly recommend Tupelo Honey, which is right across the street). We stayed in a 2 bed / 2 bath with a kitchen, living room, dining table, and the city view. Aside from creaky floors, it's a fantastic unit! Plenty of space for the 4 of us. The staff members we encountered were absolutely wonderful. The free breakfast was also great! Sausage, Eggs, Bagels, etc....not to mention awesome coffee at the ready 24/7! The other thing I thing I appreciated was that even though we had to prepay for parking ($38/night), we were able to come and go using our hotel key card, so we were not charged extra every time we left and came back. The only downside this year was that the bar on the 2nd floor, Lew's on Two, was closed the entire time we were there, but the rooftop bar was open, which was great. I highly recommend this place!"

"Parking garage in Monroe Center was affordable & easy to access & hotel was easy walk around the corner. Don't count on street parking. Hotel is quirky (think IKEA) but well-furnished, modern, clean. Bed was softer than we like, bedding was adequate but not luxurious. Quiet, no windows. Big bath, walk in shower. Handy plug for charging & cpap. Staff friendly, check in easy. Great breakfast at Little Bird on way to parking garage. Right in the middle if downtown action. Area seemed safe & clean. Highly recommend."
