“ Die Unterkunft war schön und sauber ,aber die Küchenausstattung sehr mäßig. Ebenso für uns ,als Nichtautofahrer ein großes Manko, dass jeder sein Auto vor seinem Appartment parken konnte. Der Blick von unserer Terrasse, war der auf einen Parkplatz . Dabei hätte es im vorderen Teil der Anlage genug Platz für parkende Autos gegeben. Sehr schade ! ”

“Sehr schönes kleines Hotel und Fußläufig sind Restaurants und Shops, sowie Strand gut erreichbar. Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, dass ich je auf Kreta gesehen habe, sehr liebevoll alles hergerichtet. Das Hotel ist klein aber Oho, auch Doppelzimmer und Bad eher sehr klein geraten.”

“Building, courtyard with pool, and rooms were very nice. Bathrooms however were not well maintained and showers had issues such as not having a mount on the wall to hold the shower head and not having shower curtain and plugged drains. The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. The breakfast was ok but other hotels we stayed at in Crete had much nicer breakfast selections. ”

“My friend and I enjoyed a great stay at Menta. The room was clean with a good layout. Seamless check in process, and easily found parking close by. George was absolutely wonderful. Amazing food recommendations and he was so kind in all our interactions. Will definitely be visiting again!”

“I booked for a room without balcony (with view) but I ended up with a twin bed situation not a double bed. The lady went to the extra trouble of getting a double room with balcony at no extra charge. God bless those few angels who walk among us. ”

“Pro: - Clean and cozy room - Quiet place. Many good restaurants, supermarket and beach are very close. - Well maintained swimming pool, deep enough to dive. (-the deepest spot will be about 3 meters) - Kind and helpful host family Cons: - Unreachable distance by foot from the center of Rethymno (more than 10km away) - Too much chemical smell from the pool.”
