“We stayed one night at the beginning and another night at the end of our stay in Rarotonga. The staff were amazing and friendly. There were a lot of big family groups who tended to take over all of the seating and the pool with lots of kids jumping, even though there are signs saying this is not allowed. If you are a couple, there are quieter options around. It would also be really helpful if transfers to/from the airport were included.”

“Property location was beautiful on the beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight downfall was food was ok but not a stand out. However plenty options nearby for dinner and lunch. Highly recommend especially seemed to be very well catered for children. ”

“What a great place to stay, some of the place needs updates as things are looking tried. But would not stop us rebooking again. Our room was great. The restaurant had great food and service great too. Minnie was a pleasure to deal with. Loved that it was right on the beach. The staff looked after us so well as we got sick on our trip and needed food brought to the room was not a problem. Loved the feel of this place. We will be back on my redo trip! “Our two week stay at the Black Pearl was so lovely. Paul is an excellent host who takes great care of his property and has great local knowledge. Our room was large and comfortable. The saltwater pool is convenient for days when you don't feel like getting sandy at the beach. There is a dairy/ fuel station/ ice cream shop right next door and Aro's Shipwreck Bar/ Restaurant within walking distance. “We found Magic Reef to be an absolutely ideal resort property. The bungalows are very well designed and appointed and each has a view of the beach. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the waterfront gazebo and deck area was a lovely place to spend time watching the waves crash on the reef in the distance. Cars were available for rent on site which was very convenient and there were restaurants within walking distance along the beach - how great is it to walk along a sand beach to a table...
