โGreat experience with the hotel, we stayed 2 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was very peaceful, my only recommendation to others would be to have a larger bed. We are used to king size so a double was a little small โ

โPlace is excellent. Room is clean and cozy. Restaurant and pub is top notch - all dishes I've tried are superb. I have stayed here before, but had few issues with the shower - no issues this time at all (water pressure is excellent). โ
โThe Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5.
The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite.
The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. If you need to drive into the city centre from the hotel at peak times this will take about an hour.

โYou get what you pay but very run down property and amenities were not up to scratch. Really noisy building so if you are wanting a good night sleep then good luck. Check in was really easy and good but front door seems to be not closed properly by others so never felt fully safe during my stay. Again it does the job and you get what you pay for โ
