"clean room, excellent staff, blind didn't fit widow so was awake with the sun at 04.30 but take away coffee did help as was needed "

"We had a wonderful time at the Plough Inn. The young lady who worked there could not do enough for us and she worked so hard from serving teas and coffees in the afternoon to helping with the evenings meals. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was lovely overlooking the garden. Our meal was very nice and breakfast had good choices."

Broken glass in car park and police car patrols outside frequently suggesting crime hotspot. Appears to have fake 10/10 reviews with little description."

"The Royal Oak is outstanding in every respect. If you're staying a night, its facilities are unusually generous and extensive; if you're eating, the menu and the food are great; and if you just want a drink, there's a bar area and plenty of seating outside. The staff are lovely. Plus there's plenty of local information, books, games and events, not to mention a farm shop. If you can tear yourself away, visit Wayland's Smithy a couple of miles away along the Ridgeway."
