“The views of Mt Meru and the surrounding bush country were magnificent. The grounds include banana, papaya, mango, pineapple and avocado plants/trees, all of which enhance the experience. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. All speak English. We loved the food so much my wife wanted to bring the chef home (joking of course, but high praise). The lodge staff were trained as part of a program to provide a good livelihood to local residents who otherwise would have limited...

“I arrived at the property at 4am. My driver woke someone up in order for the gates to be opened. From the moment I stepped into this magical world, I felt swept away by the atmosphere, the 4 poster bed, the warm shower, the surrounding nature and even the charming monkeys running on the property. I enjoyed an in-room massage and a fantastic breakfast and lunch. Five stars are not enough. This place is definitely a 10 out of 10. ”

“I really enjoyed my stay at Lake Duluti! It was peacefully and tranquil which is what I was looking for. The property is amazing with lots of trees, plants and animals. Having my own chalet gave me a lot of privacy and made it easy to have restful nights. The staff were helpful and made my stay comfortable and fun. They would have my chalet preped for sleeping when I was having dinner. I would stay at Lake Duluti again if coming back to Arusha. ”
