โRoom was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staffโ

โGreat hotel, impressive entrance, lovely staff and all clean. Very recently refurbished so nicely decorated. Car access only location but convenient for roads. One thing to note the sound does carry through the ceiling. โ
โSecond visit and a very warm welcome once again, we stayed in the main building this time, plenty of stairs to room six, but a big room with a massive bed and nice views down the high streetโ
โEnjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay.โ
