I'm disappointed to hear you felt our breakfast was below standard. With all sincerity, I am curious what you found was missing or neglected. We have worked very hard to create an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality while offering more options than what that BW Brand Standards require. One will find a hot egg option and breakfast meat or potatoes, waffles, cereals and oatmeal with toppings, toasted items and bakery, string cheese and yogurt, whole and prepared fruit, 3 kinds of juice, tea, coffee, milk and a dairy substitute. We have set ourselves apart buy using real dishes and flatware, a nice feature when many others use disposable foam and plastic.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Restaurant closure for the season is stated in reservation confirmations and staff has tried to make guests aware in advance as well. Our bar/lounge remains open Tues-Sat nights. I am hopeful staff was able to direct you to a place for a nice meal. Sorry for the inconvenience of having to go elsewhere.

It's great to have a property with Lake Superior in it's backyard, but as you found, we are also close to attractions, shopping restaurants and the walking/biking path. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and the convenience of being in the heart of Ashland.
