“Very clean place and nice view on the river”

“The room was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights, nothing was replenished ( coffee. Notions , cups). Breakfast was fabulous. We did not use the pool, so cant talk about it. Very close to national park and mall and historic Vicksburg. ”

“The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.”

“Desk staff person was not easily approachable; the security guard in the front desk area was distracting. The next morning the same desk staff person seemed to be in a better mood talking on the phone while I checked out. When we got to our room down a Long hallway the room door was open and the room had basic old furniture. We sleep in our clothes for a quick exit if needed because of the other guests we saw outside in the parking area around the front door and down the Long hallway.”

“Great location to visit the Mardi Gras parade! We also enjoyed the breakfast and home tour - Macy was pretty cool too and we look forward to coming back! The Galleries I was clean and spacious for our party of 4 too! ”

“This 1840 mansion is beautiful. We stayed in the Grant Suite where 70% of the furnishings were original. It sent shivers up my spine to know we slept in General Ulysses Grant's bed. I wish we had been there for a meal. The dining room and menu were inviting. All was perfect except the entry. They need to make it a little wider. It's on a hill and hard to see the driveway over the crest, especially after dark.”

“Coffee hit the spot.very good Starbucks coffee. Carpenter bees swarming in the back terrace not allowing us to sit outside and enjoy the balcony. Bed not very comfortable.”
