The NUN is an amazing place. Fantastic, friendly and personal staff made the time so enjoyable. A beautiful spa area was very unique. Walkable to center of Assisi but in a quiet corner of town.

I would definitely recommend staying at Nun. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff were wonderful. If you can book dinner at the restaurant, it was also very good.

The Nun Assisi is fantastic. The service is amazing. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Every staff member greets you with a smile and are always offering you a coffee or something to eat. The rooms are very modern, cozy and quiet. The bathroom shower is top notch. The Nun Spa is a must visit. The Nun is in easy walking distance to everything in Assisi. 5 Stars!

A true 5***** resort in the heart of Assisi

A flawless experience in a truly outstanding luxury hotel and spa. Fascinating structure (it's a former monastery), kind and effective staff, beatiful views from the restaurant terrace, and a unique spa nested in the remains of a roman thermae. To top it all, Assisi is a cultural and architectonic gem.

Perfect November stay

We could not ask for more. Nun Relais&Spa is the real peaceful place in the hearth of Assisi, from where you can easily discover the old historical center just walking. Everything is just perfect, from the phone call to reserve the Spa access with Roberta to the warmest welcome we could ever had with Elisa. The barman(whose name I forgot to ask) prepared for us an incredible signature cocktail. We chose a Deluxe and we were surprised by a huge balcony overlooking Rocca Maggiore. Time at the Nun Spa was the best pampering moment of the day. Breakfast is so rich and served in a beautiful room with unique floral touch. The doorman who took care of our luggages was so accurate and gentle. The saddest part was leaving but we will definitely be back.

Don't Stay Here If The Weather is Hot

The temperature this summer in Italy has been in the 90s and this should be no surprise this hotel. When we checked in to room #7, we were asked for our preference in room temperature, which was 20 degrees (C) and our host confirmed this was possible. Two hours later the thermostat registered the same as when we entered (25 C). I called the desk, and they said give it time. 4 hours after check-in it was still at 25. I asked for assistance. They sent a technician which reported the room was working fine. Really? When we returned after dinner at 10 pm, the room was at 25 C. I believe the hotel knew that 20 C was never possible due to their inadequate AC system, but they never disclosed this. The room was not comfortable for sleeping, and if I knew this at check-in I would have left and chosen another hotel. Since I prepaid the room on Hotel.com they could not offer a refund. I had a bad night of sleep because the room was too hot. In fact, in the morning, when it was 75 degrees outside, the thermostat was still at 25 C. The property is beautiful, but I also wish their Hotel.com description accurately described the Spa Suites, which can be on two floors with a steep staircase. The bed and bathroom upstairs and the living space downstairs. I am disappointed that the hotel is not prepared for summer heat, and since I have been traveling in Italy all month, this is the first hotel with an AC problem. So, if you plan to visit in the summer, pick a different place.
