I found the price quite expensive, and for that price I would expect everything to be perfect.
And almost everything was. Food was amazing, service impeccable and it was the newest and classiest ryokan I've ever been to. Everyone I interacted with showed will to try and communicate in English.
View from the lobby and the room would have been amazing if it wasn't cloudy. The driver from the shuttle was very kind and chatty and explained things along the way, even making two small detours to show us a temple and a scenic view spot.
Only things I could say would be:
-there are only few shuttles to and from the train station, so book in advance to avoid bad surprises or losing 30min.
-the waitress did burn a little bit too much the caramel over our Creme brulee for our taste...
