Room was very clean and spacious! Love the open middle of room lay out. Very modern and trendy but still cozy! Bathroom was clean and perfect for the two of us. The pool was not in season but the pool deck and outside area looked very inviting! Lady at the front was very sweet and welcoming. They even had samples of toothpaste ( thankfully because I can’t ever pack without forgetting something) !

Toilet got clogged at night, didn't get unclogged until the next morning so the smell was there the whole night. Elevators have a funky smell and hallways have a smell of B.O. which might be the carpet. Pillows were horrible. The staff was very nice and polite. Never staying at an ALoft again.

The night service rep was absolutely nice we had to change our room once because the first room seemed as someone laid on the bed and food crumbs everywhere , but we went back down stairs to get this changed and taken care of and they did with no hesitation, thank you

Pro: staff are so friendly and helpful. Property is beautiful. Rooms are updated, stylish and partitioned in a way that you don’t hear hall traffic. Pet friendly but doesn’t smell like a pet has been there. Gave up dog biscuits, dog mattress

It was a great stay. I enjoy this boutique hotel experience with its Loft style hotel design. Enjoyable. Not hot water during my stay for tea, coffee canteen out. I cannot complain. Wanting an invite from BONVOY for the card approval so I can make Aloft part of my regular routine.

If you have issues with this property, expect the staff will be very responsive. They were for me. But do check your bill and check out. Don’t just get it emailed. People were charging things to my room.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, due to them not charging a pet fee for our two dogs. This time they did charge $75, but I was not told when I made the reservation and found out when I checked in. When I mentioned it to the manager at checkout, however, she did remove the charge and said it was a new policy. More disturbing was the fact that a new person at the desk was not careful with security! We settled in our room and I went for food, then a man walked into our room while my wife was there. He had been given a key to our room! Again, the manager did apologize, but we feel it was a major mistake. We also had a problem with ants all over the counters in front of the windows.

Your feedback of your recent stay is greatly appreciated. We are definitely disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with our Pet Policy. Over years the Marriott brand discovered it was becoming costly to clean pet rooms back to Non-allergenic levels for our guest that are sensitive to pet dander. We also have since put systems in place to not have incidents with security like what you experienced. Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope you will provide us with another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Unfortunately this ALOFT was filthy. I have always used ALOFT as my main hotel source from Florida all the way to NYC. I’ve had no issues until now. My roommate and I came back Friday evening around 9pm with bbq. Our bbq was wrapped in aluminum in a box and the following morning we woke up to an ants everywhere! Her clothes, luggage, and food covered! Luckily the front desk staff was amazing and accommodated us and gave us a new room. The next rooms tv wouldn’t work after asking the front desk for batteries. Then our new rooms AC went out and never kicked back on. Overall the stay was terrible, I have never experienced this at aloft and am quite concerned still.

Mediocre Stay
Likes: convenient location, has a bar and a pool table. The shower was AMAZING, but the bathroom is too small. Dislikes: The pillows are too soft. There is no microwave in the room and no complimentary breakfast.

Could be Better
Typical Aloft hotel. This particular hotel is beginning to show a lot of wear and tear. The ceiling above the shower was coming down. They have started charging $50 pet fee, which is a lot considering they barely have a spot to walk the dogs or any pet friendly amenities. Our room was not particularly clean and had a bad odor.

Not as good as it used to be
This was the third time staying here. The last time was just under a year ago. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill. The front desk staff were terribly unfriendly. Not just one of them but every one we encountered. I recommended this hotel to 3 other business travelers due to prior good experience. Unfortunately, very disappointed this trip. Broken shower handle. Broken toilet paper holder. Out of virtually everything for breakfast and even charged me for something I didn’t get because they were out of it, even after telling me they were removing the charge. Charged us $8 for the drink of the day when sign in elevator said $6. Only decaf coffee available downstairs. Very poor experience

We won’t be back
The staff were very nice and helpful but operational mgt of hotel was very subpar for a Marriott branded hotel. We were double booked one night but hotel refused to fix this. A storm temporarily impacted electricity but hotel slow to recognize and address other IT related issues impacted by storm (main phone line out for days and they didn’t know it - no one could call hotel from outside). While staff were very friendly and helpful, Mgt behind the scenes were invisible and unhelpful. We will NOT be back.
