“Beautiful clean renovation of gorgeous building on rustic property setting. Stayed one night - any longer I might have been frustrated with set up of all kitchen bits available but down stairs. We were in Berthe which is a large rm but has the most uncomfortable wicker chairs so sat on the bed. Didn’t get to the bottom of why we didn’t get checkin info automatically but when we did it was very clean and easy to follow. ”

“When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

“Honestly for one night it’s great, we arrived late so missed the check in period but they offer a digital check in and we thought that was so effective. Has everything you need. ”

“Room spotless. Comfortable bed & lovely bathroom. But awfully small. Could only open 1 bag at a time. Check in instructions only came through 10mins before our arrival. Just not good enough for us. But all in all (& for the price) was excellent. Chaumont is a beautiful town. Buffalo Grill brilliant!!”

“The room was spacious and warm. The owner met us on arrival, he was very nice and spoke French clearly and slowly so we could understand. He was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice on offer and the coffee was great excellent. We would happily stay again.”
