We wanna stay again next time :-)
Check in, check out everything was great . Room is quiet old and toilet door’s bottom was rotten and broken but it wasn’t big deal for me. Our family all happy to stay their and my kids enjoyed bath time every night . Kitchenette was so handy so we cooked our own breakfast at the room and we used laundry machine too. We really enjoyed to stay at parkside hotel Thanks a lot

Rang ahead to ask about parking as I have a RTT and was able to park right outside the doors which is a bonus when trying to find somewhere in the city with low underground parking. Easy check in and check out too. Room was great.

Good location, easy to walk to the Sky Tower and Queen Street. Nice and quiet and staff were friendly. Backs onto a park that you can walk through to get into the CBD. Room was pleasant, there was a mini kitchen and washing machine in the room which would have been very handy on a longer stay. The room was rather dated and could have used a repaint but thats not the end of the world. The shower was wonderful!

The room is larger than most hotels, and there is a washing machine and electric stove in the room which are very convenient. Their service anre excellent.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfy. Good security using the pass keys. I did wish they had the cliche hotel vending machine and ice pail - Hubby and I were both looking for a cold soda/juice. Friendly staff and lots of restaurants within walking distance. There was a pretty park area directly behind the hotel with a large playground. I would definitely look to stay here again.

Very lovely staff and decent price for the location. We only stayed a couple days, and it was a great spot to easily get to restaurants and train stations.

Great hotel on a quiet street, very close to everything in the CBD. Lovely balcony, specious bathroom and nicely equipped kitchenette. We had everything we needed for a memorable stay in Auckland. Will be looking to book again, next time we visit here.

Our bathroom was leaking from the room above at 2 am, big water bubble on edge of bursting, called reception couldnt get in contact, went downstairs to reception to be told they would come up and look, no one came up. The spa tub can be very dangerous, because there are no handholds to get in and out. If the bathroom floor is wet, there is nothing to prevent a fall.

Less then ideal
The hotel itself is fairly new. Right opposite of the YMCA, which prove to be an issue. We had our last 2 days without air conditioning but because it is full so we had to just try to live with it. We opened the door to try to get it cool down, but the YMCA car park with plenty youth just won’t let you sleep up to 3am until we shut the door.

I had a lovely balcony that overlooked the city with a view of the sky tower. It was quiet, very spacious, lovely staff and everything worked. K road was very close which had takeaways and dairies, bottle stores etc and cafes. Queens street was a quick walk across the park and there were many Asian food options which are my favourite. Only thing that was an issue was the TV would turn on by itself on some kind of timer and display the Hotel QR code. Everything else was good

Nice easy place but warm for a nights sleep.
Place and ammenties were good but the air-conditioning was rather poor had it on full speed and the lowest setting and it could not even reach that temperature. When we moved into the room it was over 29 degrees in the room and felt like it never cooled down to a comfortable temperature.
