Don’t let the updated, cleanliness of the lobby fool you. Your room will be old and cruddy. I was grossed out at the thought of having to take a shower in that disgusting looking bathtub. Layers and layers of filthy caulking wherever they can put it from the bathroom to the sink area. The bed sheets had stains and the room as a whole just didn’t feel clean. To make matters worse, which I know isn’t the Hotels fault, just the way it was handled, a main water line broke right in front of the hotel leaving us without water. We had to use our own drinking water we purchased to wash our hands, brush our teeth and wash our faces. I initially had a 3 night stay booked but decided to check out since there was no water. I contacted Expedia the night of my check-in date with this complaint to see what my options were and was told that they spoke with the property manager who stated he would give a full refund for all 3 nights but I had to check out immediately, it was 10pm and I have small kids, 4 hours away from home. WOW. I just waited the night out , picked up my kids and left first thing the next morning. When doing so, I was what the reason was for checking out early. Uhm no water! Now I’m having to go back and forth to get a refund. Hopefully the Expedia team will continue working on this for me.the Expedia team so far has been a great help in this situation.
