Parking was easy and great restaurants nearby. The property itself felt safe but I would drive in the neighborhood. Especially at night. We walked and wished we had driven. We're from Portland OR. So to say we didn't feel great says something. But with that change I would totally stay again. Staff was amazing and accommodating and the property was beautiful and very comfortable.

The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex.

The Heywood was impeccably decorated. Customer service was perfection. My room was clean, easy to get to, private, and had everything I needed. Plus, they had custom touches… my name on my snack basket, a note from the staff, a tiny chocolates. I can’t wait to return!

We stayed for two nights. The king patio room is spacious and comfortable. The bath tub is a very nice feature with a skylight. If you want a romantic room, this is it. There’s a small but intimate patio for two right outside the door with a privacy gate. The staff was amazing and immediately contacted us prior to our stay to see if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable. Jayde was an amazing hostess and went above and beyond our expectations.we will definitely return to this beautiful boutique hotel in the near future. I highly recommend it.

Nice bed, fantastic shower, spacious room, quiet AC, good coffee. Super fast wifi, I measured 100mb down and 25mb up. No workout room but you can walk to the trail at Lady Bird Lake in about 10 min. No breakfast.

Loved the complete set up of the hotel. I especially enjoyed the outside patio area. Additionally, the extra treats that were left in the room were a nice surprise! The hotel is conveniently located to walk to the lake area or into the city. The food options around the hotel are excellent - great food truck tacos, barbecue, restaurants, and other delicious options. Most importantly, the hotel staff and owner were extremely accommodating and helpful. The Heywood hotel is a great place to stay away from the busy downtown area.

Maris checked me in early and she was amazing! I arrived before 11am and my room was not ready yet, so I asked for lunch place recommendations. I took her advice and walked to Lou’s Bodega. It was perfect as I was looking for something healthy after a long flight. While I was getting lunch, I received a text from Maris that my room was ready, So after lunch I walked back and settled in. Maris included all my request in the refrigerator and the room was lovdly. I love a boutique hotel and this one was outstanding! I’d love to come back! Highly recommend
