I can see why this hotel is rated so well. Staff were kind and considerate. The breakfast options were plentiful. For late sleepers, it's nice that it's available until 10, and the late check out is at noon. The fitness center & pool were in great condition. The only thing I would have changed would be getting rid of carpet in the rooms. Hotel carpets always smell like stinky feet, and there's really no way around it, but to get rid of it. Thankfully our room had a window that cracked open and it was cool enough to leave it cracked in the evening when we arrived to help the smell dissipate.

The property looked great from the outside. Cleanliness is not 100% Found an unwrapped tampon under one of the towels on the shelf as well as small bottle of shampoo that didn’t belong to the hotel. I had forgotten that La Quinta allows pets so there was a smell of animals on the bed and in the room. That was completely my fault. I should remember that this brand allows pets so no deductions in my review for that just a reminder if you’re not a pet fan too not book at La Quinta Staff was great

I traveled from Tennessee to Texas to visit my sister in the hospital. This La Quinta is relatively close (4.1 miles) from the hospital. I have been VERY impressed by the professional staff AND the facility. The complementary breakfast was AWESOME, so I poked my head in the kitchen and thanked the lady to prepared it for us. I liked this facility so much, I decided to extend my stay for a few days. Thank you!
