"We stayed 5 nights at the Ezkar Bathonea Art Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is peaceful and clean, and the staff were very helpful. They even upgraded our room due to some kitchen noise, giving us a more superior room at no extra charge. Breakfast had a good variety and was very enjoyable, although the restaurant is only open for breakfast. The location is great — there are lovely lakes and parks nearby, and it’s within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but the metro link is excellent (approximately 40 minutes). Ashan, the manager, was always joking and friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future."

"Room upgrade, amazing view, room comfort and cleanliness"

"The room I rent was far away from looking like on the pictures. Wall next to the bathroom was falling apart, sofa bed was dirty and the room had no windows was placed in the bacement. When I asked at the reception to change the room they told me to cancel and pay twice more for an upgrade. "

"This place is a great value compared to other options you can book in İstanbul. The building is new, and our studio apartment was also new (I think all the rooms are), with everything clean and shiny. The owner and staff are very nice, polite, and always ready to help or answer your questions about İstanbul. At first, it looks like the property is far from the city, but it’s actually not that far. There’s a huge shopping mall just about 5-minute walk away. If you like to see local İstanbul (I mean local local) just pass the highway bridge across the Pelican mall and you will be in Cihangir, Avcilar with tons of local restaurants and cafes with very reasonable prices witch you will love. We didn’t have a car, but it was easy to get around İstanbul by taxi or bus. You can take a taxi (make sure to use the Bitaksi or Uber app) to the "Küçükçekmece metro" station, which is the closest one. It costs about 7–8 USD. From there İstanbul is yours, you can go anywhere in İstanbul."
