We stayed 5 nights at the Ezkar Bathonea Art Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is peaceful and clean, and the staff were very helpful. They even upgraded our room due to some kitchen noise, giving us a more superior room at no extra charge.
Breakfast had a good variety and was very enjoyable, although the restaurant is only open for breakfast.
The location is great — there are lovely lakes and parks nearby, and it’s within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but the metro link is excellent (approximately 40 minutes).
Ashan, the manager, was always joking and friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.
