Fabulous accommodation! The room was a great size, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and lovely. Overall, everything was great. We were only in Avignon for one day and one night, but the accommodation definitely did not disappoint. The location was also excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Our only disappointment was the late checkout. We asked if we could stay an additional two hours and were told it would cost €50, which I found a bit unreasonable for such a short extension. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and were very happy with the accommodation!

Very clean and comfortable 2BR in great location. On ground floor; has nice enclosed patio area. I loved the soaking tub; my friend loved the walk-in shower. Beds and pillows were super comfy. Highly recommend!

Hi, we loved staying in this apartment. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was a great location where we could get to the train station easily as well as all the local shops and restaurants. The only negative was that there was no washer and dryer which we thought they would be. The QR code was also a little finicky but that could’ve been User error.

Excellent but no bath.

Overall excellent. Close of everything. Spacious. New. The only turn off for me is the hotels.com listing stated a bath separated and there was not. We are on a big trip and chooses the place for that and there’s none. The listing should be updated. Not all rooms have a bath. Still great experience and I was very impressed by the luggage room available before the checking time.

Home Away From Home

We had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment in Avignon. The property is new, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, which made it feel both modern and comfortable. Its location is perfect—right in the heart of the city centre, close to restaurants, shops, and main attractions—yet tucked away enough that it remains quiet and peaceful, allowing us to rest well after a day of exploring. The hosts were excellent—warm, responsive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Their friendliness made the stay even more pleasant. Another big plus is the nearby car park, which made it very convenient for us since parking in city centres can often be tricky. Overall, this apartment combines the best of both worlds: central convenience with surprising tranquility. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Avignon, whether for a short trip or a longer stay. It’s a place that makes you feel immediately at home.

Great apartment hotel located in walking distance to the Avignon center train station as well as the Palace of the Popes. The room was spacious and had a small kitchen. Note, this is a walk up apartment building. The air conditioning worked very well and cooled the room even when it was 90F degree temp outside. Communication was great thru text. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room is excellent. But this is not a hotel No front desk person and no elevator (which is on the booking info). You cannot checkin early even if rm is ready but can do for a fee. The luggage storage rm has 4 small lockers that will fit a medium size backpack and not a big suitcase. I was able to speak to the manager on chat on an app.

The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error.

Quando eu cheguei dezessete horas o local ainda não havia sido limpo. Tive que pedir para limparem. As luzes da cozinha não funcionam. Não havia máquinas de lavar e secar roupas, como anunciado. Não há lençol de cima, pelo que deitamos direto no edredon, sendo que os dias estavam quentes. Não há acessibilidade. Não há limpeza diária. Tive que pedir para limparem no primeiro dia, para poder entrar a localização é ótima.
