The cottages along the river were built in traditional Thai stye. Wood floors and exposed beams give it an authentic feel. Staff was helpful and views of river added to experience.
It is a distance from the main park, but a straightforward 10 minute taxi ride to most ruins.
I had a fantastic stay at Ayodhara Village. The room was great, spacious, and clean. The host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, especially for those with a car. Highly recommended!
The woman who runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. She greeted us at 6 in the morning after our night train. When we finally emerged from our rooms at 11, she offered to make breakfast. She arranged a drive for us and helped us Loy Kratong. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The only complaint is that the beds are like rocks, but the rest of the experience more than makes up for it.
For us it was a perfect , unique & authentic experience

Wonderful grounds and very friendly and accommodating people. We arrived in the midst of a major flood that affected the whole town, but they arranged a small boat to take us there and out to the main road whenever we wanted. OnLy drawback was the bed which is a traditional hard mattress, but with extra pillows it was fine.
A beautifully located accommodation in lovely wooden traditional rooms surrounded by lovely gardens and on a river. It is a long distance (6kms) from the temples and attractions therefore you will need transport arrangements. Likewise there is no restaurant on site so you will need to travel to town to eat (there is very limited options to have on site). The mattress is next level hard and the room is simple but clean. A great option if you want to be out of town and enjoy a lovely environment.
Beautiful secluded property along a river, peaceful and quiet. Lots of sounds of nature at night. A genuine Thai structured home, truly a unique experience. The bed was as hard as the floor however. A pillow top mattress cover that is worn out and tired, does little to alleviate.

Decisamente in disuso .
