“Very clean, comfortable beds, great shower pressure. Staff were very nice. I don’t eat breakfast decided to sleep in.”

“The hotel room we were to stay in at the Comfort Suites Abingdon was disgusting and a health threat. The room had a dead cockroach in the corner, a bunch of food crumbs along the bed frame edge that were molding, some dirty crusty white streak on the bed skirting, and worst of all, mildew growing up the sides of the bed side table. My family and I did not stay the night there but rather checked out and went to the Hampton Inn at the next exit. The Comfort Suites Abingdon general manager...

“The room was clean, well appointed with everything you'd want in a motel room. Very nice.”

“Pretty good value”

“Perfectly located in town. Easy self checkin. Comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.”

“Beautiful historic inn by the river. Close to downtown Damascus. We were able to walk to our bike shuttle to get on the creeper. Nice restaurants within walking distance and the hotel in the restaurant was really good. Loved our room and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The lady in charge of breakfast is a gem. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. You will love this place!”

“Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return.”

The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...

“Bathroom was filthy. Bathtub was dirty and stained. Floors were dirty and every corner was caked with dirt in the bathroom. No bkankets on bed. Bottom sheet was inside out and stained.”
