โFrom the immediate warm and genuinely friendly welcome, to the home cooked, delicious pub food, we could not fault this delightful inn. I have to be honest, I was not expecting the high standard we experienced for the price paid and so were especially delighted. The lovely touch of two (unexpected) continental breakfasts in 'go bags' for our onward journey the next day to the wonderfully comfortable bed and the obvious pride everyone we met takes in their property I cannot praise them highly...

โLittle gem, amazing view of the seaโฆ. Self contained apartment which we booked โlast minuteโโฆ The swimming pool, sauna and steam (all were included) were great. Thereโs also a games room but because we was only there for a night, we didnโt visit. Really friendly reception staff.

โThe owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. โFabulous location overlooking the market place with convenient free parking options. The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. Iโll definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the new developments there as it really is a place thatโs growing and developing. โ
โWhat a wonderful place. The room was large and spacious with a wonderful view of the river. Meals were flavourful and plenty. I genuinely say that the breakfast was the BEST I have had in all my years of business travel. โ
โThe hotel had a bit of character and was well located for access to the coast and nearby sights. Our room was large and comfortable with a table and chairs, plenty of storage space. The grounds were a good size, well maintained and great for sitting outside. Dinner was very good in a conservatory dining room. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, happy to chat and offer advice on places to visit and things to do. A very enjoyable short stay โ
