"Loved being right on the water in our Family Cabin! Being able to walk right out and feel the tropical air and see the palms blowing in the wind. It rained hard the night we stayed and hitting the tin roof lulled us right to sleep. The wood detailing was gorgeous and everything seemed new and fresh. Felt safe & comfy on our visit "

"We arrived late for our stay. Directions were quite precise and our key and all details were easily accessible. Accommodation was quirky, comfortable and had amazing views. We also had access to a swimming pool , kayaks, bikes and paddle boards. There was a coffee machine but would have preferred a kettle. That is our only negative. "

"This was a dream. We were really not expecting much and walked into a little slice of heaven. The grounds are stunning, with ocean views all around and beautifully kept. Staff was welcoming and accommodating at every moment. Rooms were bright and spacious, and the dining experience a hit. We can’t wait to return. "

"My 1st time in the Keys. And this hotel did not disappoint!!! Suzy at the front desk is AMAZING!!! She answered all our questions as well as gave us the lay of the land from where to eat and what to explore. If I could give this hotel 100 stars I would!!! The property is pristine and very well kept. The main pool has a tiki bar and the bartender is amazing and a wealth of knowledge of Marathon and the Keys. Every employee we interacted with was always very friendly! Views are awesome here as well. The location is centralized to everything and anything you could wanna eat, explore and see. Sparky’s is a cool spot to hang out. The food was very good. It is more of a local hang out but I didn’t mind. I cannot say enough about our trip here!! I cannot wait to come back and I will only stay here when I do. You’re treated very well and like family!!! Thank you so much! "

"This is a very REASONABLY priced lodging for the FL Keys so expect simple things. We had a great stay, room was clean, the young gent at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, ditto at checkout. The beds are comfortable. The shower head had great pressure and the onsite tiki bar is a big plus. There were no plastic cups or coffee maker in the room but there was a microwave and fridge and table with two chairs. The ice machine was not working but there is a quickie mart just next door for that if you needed it. Could the resort be flashier, yes it could but Looe Key Reef Resort offered us a cost effective comfy safe stay in a place where time in the room was not important. We did not use the pool or the dive/snorkle amenities as we came down to fish, but if you wanted that stuff it’s all here. We hope to be back soon."
