We enjoyed our 3 days stay at Sugarloaf and having a washer/dryer is a huge plus. The property has access to a mini beach where you can just relax after a long day out. One thing I didn’t know was this property also rents out to RV so our place was next to an RV park. However, it was pretty quiet and didn’t bother us at all.

Overall a great experience. The space worked really well for our family and the grounds, beach, and pool were welcoming and enhanced the experience. My only complaint is that there is apparently an unwritten rule that no jumping at all (not just diving) is allowed into the pool. This rule isn’t written on any signs and is only enforced selectively by security guards who pass through occasionally. One security guard reprimanded my kids for doing canon balls when they were the only ones in the pool. When I asked the guard, he said it is currently an unwritten rule but new signs will be made in the future. At other times I observed guards saying nothing to other kids doing the same thing. This was confusing to my kids, and detracted from the overall experience.

This location had a variety of different things to do while your stay there and a very convenient public transportation stop to key west right outside the site. Very friendly staff. The rooms were very nice and clean. The doggy park was also clean. We felt very welcomed, we are definitely spreading the word and coming back !

This is such a beautiful resort! Looks just like the pictures! Food is great but a little pricey. Food pricing is what you would expect at a resort but portions are great! The washer and dryer was great because we were able to go home with clean clothes! The facility is clean and well maintained. No room turn over service during your stay but that’s okay. It’s an air bnb vibe in the room with cook top, fridge, and dish washer! Balcony offers great views! The beach is cozy and has cool gadgets for the kids to play in the water. Resort is set up so that you can stay and be entertained! Very family friendly! Highly recommend and I will def book again!
