An unforgettable experience in the Douro Valley. The views from the property are simply stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special — personalized touches throughout made it feel like far more than just a hotel stay. The chef's dinner was a true highlight, and the wine tasting experience was expertly guided. The only reason this isn't a full five stars is the more rural location means a bit more travel time to reach — but that's also part of what makes the Douro so peaceful and worth visiting. A beautiful, memorable stay we'd happily repeat.

The view is incredible. The swimming pool is situated overlooking the river and the view is breathtaking. We both had a massage and it was very good. Breakfast was plentiful. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and the service was quick and the food delicious.

This hotel has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The room was big and luxurious, and the pool was one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. Plus it’s open a generous 24 hours. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was delicious. I’m so glad I decided to stay two nights instead of one. Highly recommend! This place is worth every penny!

The location is truly stunning. The view from the top floor and pool area is so spectacular. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was top quality and so much choice. Dinner was also excellent although pricy. The spa and pools were great as well. Overall the hotel is a great spot, some of the decor felt outdated and outdoors some repairs are needed. But we were very happy with our stay.
