3/5 - Okay
If you travel or Pinhão, don’t take a car. The roads are tricky and the trip can last two tedious hours in each direction. Use the train. It’s easy, fun and you’d see more of the river than you would’ve had with a car.

While Ribadouro isn't home to many top sights, Monastery of Santo André de Ancede and Caldas de Aregos are some notable places to visit nearby.

The staff was most welcoming, efficiant and helpful. The balcony with river view was wonderful. The complimentary bottle of wine in the room was special.
