โThis hotel is situated in the perfect spot to get around St Johns. We were close to everything! The hotel was clean and my kids loved the pool with the slides. It was convenient to have East Side Marios attached to the hotel as well.โ
โWe had an awesome time at Mallard Inn. The rooms are newly renovated and beautifully designed. The property is a historic building right next to Quidi Vidi Wharf. As the property just opened under new ownership when we visited, there were minor hickups (like eg. a missing bin in the room) which have been quickly resolved by the attentive and friendly stuff. Parking on site is limited and extended dinner options require a car to go into town.โ
โThe staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating. Such a treat to be greeted every morning with a smile and a beautifully prepared and presented hot breakfast. Ample parking and very easy access to this historic Bed and Breakfast.โ
โTwo things, not enough options for vending machines and we were surprised we had to pay for parking which we were not aware until husband was settling bill &15 dollars a day was a lot ,but hotel was great.

โStayed 1 night for flight layover. Close proximity to airport about 10 minutes away by cab. Clean and comfortable. Staff at front desk very helpful with suggestions of what to see in the area.โ
โA beautiful hotel with a nice restaurant. Walkable to the bars on Water Street. Great parking. Accessibility was important and bathtub/shower was easy for my husband to use. โ
โThe staff was pleasant and accommodating , the pub menu was well rounded; the food delicious. The VLTs on property were a plus. The room was nice the bathroom very clean with the exception of one spider surprising me in the shower. The smoke shack was big and comfy. One bus to downtown, 10 mins on foot to the mall. All in all a great stay.โ
